New York rapper and founding member of hip hop group Dipset , Jim Jones has signed a new management deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation. The deal follows last weeks signing of Terror Squad's Fat Joe three weeks ago. Roc Nation's growing roster, boasts stars such as Wale, Yo Gotti, LOX and DJ Khaled.
Jim Jone's deal is reportedly a 360 deal, which will have Roc Nation handle his music, acting and other activities.
It looks like Jim Jones is now "Flying high" with Jay-z, which is a far cry from their exchange of diss tracks. In 2006 Jay-z released a disstrack "Brooklyn High" which was a re-mix of Jones's "We Fly High". In a statement to Billboard , Jones says "As you get older you realize that most of your peers are either dead or in jail,” ..."The fact that we can move past the BS is a testimony [to] how much we have grown". The fall out between the two rappers began when Roc-a-Fella records fell apart following the notorious fall out between Jay-z and Co-founder Dame Dash, dipset were at the time signed to Def Jam - ROC Records.
