"Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh no no" looks like Queen Bey is in a bit of hot water.
The creator of the Roc-A-Fella logo Dwayne Walker, who is still the sole proprietor - you would think Jay-Z and Dash would've bought all rights to it- is suing Beyonce for the Roc-A-Fella chain appearing in the hit song 'Drunk in Love' music video.
Though it's actually Jay-Z who owns the chain and wears it in the video, the suit is directed entirely at Beyonce with Jay-Z not a named defendant in the case. Walker claims that his permission was not obtained for use in the video and he is seeking a payout for its use or that it is removed from the video. Arguably, the logo appears for a few seconds, contrary to Walkers claim that it is prominently displayed in the video.
In 2016 a Federal Judge dismissed a $7m lawsuit brought by walker against Jay-Z and Dame Dash for copyright infringement claiming that he was entitled to royalties from an agreement that dated 20 years prior to the lawsuit being filed in 2012.
Anyway we know Queen Bey isn't loosing any sleep.
